Time To Make The Cider

Keg & Barrel is offering a cider making class this weekend.

So you want to keep your homebrewing cred up to date, right? You’ve perfected your quadruple-hopped IPA recipe and your pumpkin stout won silver at last year’s club competition. What do you do now?

If you’re keeping up with trends, you know what the answer is: cider.

Lucky for you, Keg & Barrel Home Brew Supplies in Berlin, NJ, is offering a class that teaches students to make both apple cider and apple wine. The 3-4 hour class meets at noon on Oct. 4 and only costs $20. The hard cider will be brewed from a kit that students can buy to replicate their lesson, and the wine will be made from South Jersey cider.

The husband-wife team that owns the store is happy to finally be able to offer classes after surviving in a cramped space before they moved to their current location at 2 South Rt. 73 in Berlin. They regularly offer inexpensive brewing classes for all levels.

Classes are limited to ten people, though, so be quick. Reserve your spot through the link below.
