Better Beer Fest: Camden or Chester?

This Saturday, Septemebr 6th, beer festivals are happening in both Camden, New Jersey and Chester, Pennsylvania.

For the 4th annual MGK Brew Blast at the Battleship New Jersey, guests will be able to enjoy 50 craft brews from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Battleship deck provides a great view of the Philly skyline and guests will also get to hang out with some of the hosts from the station.

Tickets for the event are $45 each; however, group discounts are available. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office on the day of the event.

Further down the Delaware River, the Delaware River Craft Brewfest will be happening at The Plaza at PPL Park. The Brewfest features samplings of crafts, imports and ciders from around the United States and the world.  Samples of limited-release beers such as Goose Island Bourbon County and the Scratch Series from Troegs will also be available.

The VIP session of the event runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $60 each. General admission session runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $45 each. The general admission includes a souvenir tasting cup. The VIP includes VIP parking, the ability to talk with brewers and taste special beers not served in the general session.

Tickets can be purchased online. Event parking will be free.

With both cities appearing on various lists of the most dangerous, we have to wonder what Wilmington, the most dangerous small city in the country has planned.
