Yards Cape of Good Hope Is Back

It’s time for Yards Brewing’s Cape of Good Hope. The yearly IPA has a different recipe each year but it has always been memorable. This year’s brew is crafted with 100% pilsner malt, Columbus, Centennial, El Dorado, Calypso and Galaxy hops. The double IPA weighs in at 9% alcohol by volume and will be available beginning on August 1st.

Yards has also brewed a collaborative English style IPA, WD-70 with Brendan Hartranft of Memphis Taproom, Local 44, Resurrection Ale House and Strangelove’s. The beer is a low gravity, easy drinking ale and will be available at all his bars today at 5 p.m.

Also coming down the pike from the Delaware Avenue brewery are two other seasonal beers. Pynk is a tart berry ale that will be available in 12-ounce bottles. Cicada is a Belgian IPA and will be available in 750 ml bottles.
