The Dude Hates Cancer and So Does Yards

Yards Brewing Company will be hosting “The Dude Hates Cancer Event/Cape of Good Hope Launch Party” on July 27th from 7:30-10:30pm. The Dude Hates Cancer is an organization that supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by putting together a friendly “The Big Lebowski”-themed bowling competition each year to help raise money for the cause. Teams compete on the lanes and off by raising funds before the competition.

Yards is supporting The Dude Hates Cancer by turning the launch party of their “Epic Ale” The Cape of Good Hope into a fundraiser. Not only will their new uniquely-aged ale be available, but all Yards beers will be on tap with some extras as well. Some favorite Philly food trucks will be attending to serve delicious food, and live music and brewery tours cap off the night. $40 event admission includes the music, tours, all beer, and light fare (food from the truck vendors is not included). Buying tickets in advance is recommended, as Yards expects them to sell out.

All proceeds from the event go toward The Dude Hates Cancer, which hopes to raise $100,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The finale bowling competition will be on September 15th at North Bowl, so help them reach their goal by attending the Yards party!
