The Bruery at Chifa Tonight

Chifa is hosting California craft brewery The Bruery this Thursday night. Known for their big bottles of unfiltered beers, The Bruery should make for an excellent companion to Chifa’s Latin-Asian cuisine. The dinner begins a 7 p.m. and will feature four courses for $65.

Broiled Eel with avocado mousse, white soy-marinated habaneros and citrus rice puffs
paired with Orchard White, their wildly popular witbier that is no longer produced

Poached Black Cod with crispy skin, roasted garlic, creamy masa, charred corn and chorizo
paired with Trade Winds, a summer seasonal tripel Belgian-style golden ale with a Southeast Asian twist

Braised Beef Short Rib with grilled ‘rye’ bread, pickled and raw vegetable salad and crispy kale
paired with Rugbrod, a Danish-style dark beer inspired by and named for rye bread

Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches with lemon and blueberry ice cream and crème fraiche sorbet
paired with Mischief, a hoppy, Belgian-style golden strong ale
