Now Open: Marabella Meatball Company
Marabella Meatball Company, the new quick-service meatball shop from the Marabella family (readers of a certain age will remember them from their eponymous restaurants), opens today at 11 a.m. at 1211 Walnut Street. The new spot focuses on sandwiches — you can either order from “Nonni’s” menu of pre-built selections or, if you’re more of a DIY type, you can create your own, starting with the meatballs, which are available in pork, beef, chicken and veggie varieties.
The balls can be topped with various sauces (tomato, cheese), toppings (broccoli rabe, pesto), and cheeses (aged provolone, fontina). And if the traditional spherical shape doesn’t do it for you, the meatballs can also be ordered “smashed.” Click through to see the full menu.
The Meatball Company is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
