Stephen Starr’s upcoming gastropub at 18th and Sansom

Stephen Starr has hired a chef for his still unnamed gastropub at 18th and Sansom. [The Insider]

The Standard Tap’s kitchen is now open an hour earlier. The Tap now serves food starting at 4pm and that includes weekends too. So that limbo between brunch and dinner is now just an hour.

Wolfgang Puck is taking over the catering at the Kimmel Center and will be opening a restaurant on the Spruce Street side where the gift shop now resides. [The Insider]
