Sour, Tart, Tangy Beer Celebration

Devil's Den is devoting eight taps to sour beers

Sour beer — a barrel-aged, tart, (typically) Belgian delight — is getting some Philly brouhaha. From Saturday, August 14 to Friday, August 20, South Philly beer bar Devil’s Den will host Sour Fest 2010, a celebration of tangy, lip-puckering brews. The bar will devote one of its draft towers (i.e. eight taps) to sour beers all week. Opening taps include Russian River Consecration, Monstre Rouge (a collaboration between Terrapin and DeProef) and Cantillion Kriek 100% Lambic.
