Weekend

Friday
It’s First Friday and it’s not raining! If you’re heading out to Old City tonight we always suggest dinner at Chloe, La Locanda del Ghiottone or Radicchio Cafe.

Across town at DiBruno Brothers there will be a cheese tasting with Troegs. It’ll be worth going just to see what they pair with Troegs Rugged Trail Ale.

If you’re staying in tonight to save yourself for tomorrow you can still get a glimpse of fine dining in the area as at 9:30 PM the Fine Living Network’s Dinner Date features Chef Ralph Pallarino of Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon in West Conshohocken.

Saturday
Don’t know if you’ve heard but there’s a big craft beer festival in town. Check out all the links.

Late night, check out the fundraiser for Peek-A-Boo Review The Review lost their props and stuff when the Five Spot burned down. The show tonight will be at the Trocadero starting at Midnight.

Sunday
The Market Frankford Elevated turns 100. Free rides for everyone! So why not take a ride down to Girard and hit up brunch at the Standard Tap’s less mobbed sibling, Johnny Brenda’s. Or take advantage of a free El loophole and take the El to the Green Line and take advantage of the free interchange to travel down Baltimore Avenue to either the Green Line Cafe or Rx. Want to head towards Frankford then do exactly that, then hop on the 66 Bus to either the Grey Lodge or across the street to one of Philadelphia’s best pizza spots, Tony’s Place.
