The Best Jobs in America for 2016

Glassdoor examined which jobs pay well and are most in-demand.

What makes a job great? Is it the money? The people you get to work with everyday? The challenges you face that transform you into a better doctor, lawyer, writer or computer programmer?

Glassdoor has released its list of the top 25 jobs in the United States, and created the rankings based on the number of job openings, earning potential and career opportunities.

Tech jobs (predictably) ranked high, as data scientists, mobile developers and software engineers all made the top 10. Interestingly, medical jobs — which typically have the highest salaries in the Philly area — didn’t fare so well, with just physician assistants and nurse practitioners cracking the top 25.
