Eagles Cut Malcolm Bunche, Deon Long
With Johnson's potential 10-game suspension, the Eagles may add an offensive lineman.
The Eagles cut offensive lineman Malcolm Bunche and wide receiver Deon Long, the team announced Sunday night. Philadelphia recently signed Long, while they brought in Bunche as an undrafted free agent last season.
The moves come on the heels of reports circulating that the Eagles may be interested in acquiring linebacker Stephen Tulloch and offensive tackle Will Beatty, but it’s unclear how the team will fill the two open roster spots. With Lane Johnson facing a potential 10-game suspension, it’d make sense for the Birds to add an offensive lineman.
