NFL Playoffs Open Thread: AFC Wild Card
While the Birds are in the middle of a coaching search, 12 NFL teams are in the playoffs, and four play tonight. The Chiefs and Texans kick off the action at 4:20 on ESPN/ABC, while the Steelers and Bengals play at 8:15 on CBS.
Both games involve potential Eagles coaching candidates, including Kansas City offensive coordinator Doug Pederson and Cincinnati defensive coordinator Paul Guenther. We’ll open up the comments as the games get going.
8:20 — The Chiefs topped the Texans, 30-0. When Doug Pederson and Kansas City land back in town this evening, the Eagles’ front office will reportedly be on site and ready to interview Pederson for their head coaching job.
