Hey, Philly bikers! As you probably know, May is National Bike Month and May 14 to 18 is National Ride Your Bike to Work Week. While that may seem arbitrary to you all who pedal it out the other 11 months of the year, this month comes with some serious perks for you. You know that tune-up you’ve been meaning to get for the last, erm, two years? Good news! You can score one for free next week.

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco has teamed up with Keswick Cycle to bring this awesome biker-friendly day into existence. During three time blocks throughout the day on Thursday, May 17, Keswick Cycle’s mechanics will literally set up shop in Hotel Monaco to offer free express tune-ups and bike inspections on the spot. They’ll adjust your front and back derailleurs and brakes and  inspect your wheels and tires while they’re at it.

All services will be provided on a first come, first served basis. That said, while you’re waiting for your trusty steed to get the Keswick Cycle stamp of approval, you can score some treats from Red Owl Tavern — the Monaco’s in-house restaurant and bar. Yes, please!

The service hours are as follows: 7 to 9 a.m., 12 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. All bikers who get their wheels tended to during this pop-up will be entered to win a brand spankin’ new Fuji Feather bike. Plus, the tune up will have your ride in great shape for Friday, May 18, which is Philly’s citywide Bike to Work Day.

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is located at 433 Chestnut Street in Old City.
