Whole Foods Is Offering an Insane Deal on Beauty Products This Friday
Whenever I go to Whole Foods, I peruse the beauty aisle in the same way I peruse the Lululemon website. That is, with very little intention of purchasing anything unless it’s on sale, because a face moisturizer that costs the same as a week’s worth of Sweetgreen salads (lookin’ at you, Dr. Hauschka) — no matter how lovely and Goop-appropriate the packaging — just does not fit into my budget. And this, my friends, is why Whole Foods Market’s Beauty Bags, a piece of their annual Beauty Week celebrations, are like a gift dropped from the heavens. In said bag, you get 11 popular beauty products from the aisles of Whole Foods for — wait for it — 18 bucks.
Here’s the deal: The Beauty Bags, which you’ll find in all Whole Foods Whole Body sections tomorrow, March 24th, feature a slew of Whole Foods skincare and makeup favorites. Think: 1 ounce of Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner, 1.7 ounces Acure Pore Clarifying Red Clay Facial Mark, .5 ounces of DERMA E Hydrating Night Cream, and more. (You can see the full rundown of products in this year’s bag here.) All of the products are made without the over-75 ingredients Whole Foods bans from its stores (think: no phthalates, no microbeads, no triclosan, and so on), and none of the items are tested on animals. So you get to try a bunch of the products you’ve ogled on your weekly grocery-shopping trips before you spring for the full size.
All in all, the bag — a Piece & Co. bag that’s lovely on it’s own, and will make for a great makeup bag once you unload everything — has a retail value of $90. But again, it will only run you $18. Our friends at Whole Foods tell us each store gets a pretty limited number of bags and they fly off the shelves, usually within the day, so your best bet is to stop at Whole Foods on your way into the office tomorrow if you’re looking to get your hands on one. And do note, along with the Beauty Bags, through March 28th, all of the facial care and cosmetics items at the stores are 25 percent off. So if you want to spring for the full size of Dr. Hauschka anything, now is the time, friend.
