Calling all Philly bikers: If you’ve always dreamt of becoming the next Lance Armstrong (You know, minus the whole steroid incident), here’s your chance to ride like a pro. Registration is officially open for the Velothon bike ride, coming to Philadelphia on June 1st.

Here’s the deal: The Velothon is an amateur ride hosted by Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic. You’re probably wondering, what exactly about an amateur ride says “pro?” Well, here’s what: Participants get to ride the exact same course as the pros participating in the Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic, on the same day, with the same crowds screaming from the sidelines. So, even if you’re the slowest biker in the bunch, you’re bound to feel like Lance Armstrong.

Starting off at Kelly Drive, the ride takes you through 30 gorgeous miles (six more miles than last year’s course) of the city, finishing off with a tough climb up the Manayunk Wall. If you want to join in on the ride but aren’t much for competition, not to worry: You can opt to be in a fully-timed competitive or non-competitive wave.

Post-race, bikers can head over to Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park to soak up some sun and watch the real pros race in the Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic.

You can register for the race here.
