Celebrity Zumba Instructor Kass Martin Is Coming to the NAC

The upcoming Zumbathon raises funds for ALS research.

Alright, Zumbaphiles, listen up: Internationally renowned Zumba instructor Kass Martin (yup, she’s the face of the Zumba Fitness video game) is coming to our area next weekend for a Zumbathon at the Newtown Athletic Club. The event will raise money for Augie’s Quest, an organization founded by Life Fitness founder Augie Nieto, who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease (a.k.a. ALS) in 2005. Funds raised at the event will support ALS research.

Kass will be in the house on Saturday, March 16th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the event. It’ll include a Zumba class, of course, but also a raffle drawing for a $200 gift certificate to the NAC’s onsite salon and spa, Urban Allure.

The event is open to NAC members and nonmembers. Tickets are $35. Sign up here.
