Electric Run 5K Registration Details and Discount Promo Code

Well, that was fast. We wanted more details about the new race on the block, and we got’ em—well, some of ’em. A few days after we first posted about the brand-new Electric Run 5K, coming to Philly this summer, more details were finally posted. Here’s what we know (and what we still don’t):

When: July 20th, time TBD.

Where: ??

Registration opens: This Thursday, March 7th, at 9:05 a.m.

Cost: $45 until March 14th at 11:59 p.m.; $50 until June 13th; $55 until July 1th; $60 until the day of the event. Teams of four can register for a $5 discount during each registration phase.

Benefiting charity: ??

The website says organizers are finalizing the course map and it’ll be posted soon. Facebook offers one clue, though, in a posting from last night: “Philadelphia! We are excited to bring Electric Run to Fairmount Park!!” Ooookay, then. I’m betting it starts at the Art Museum and goes up MLK Drive, but that’s just a guess. We’ll give you an update when we’ve got it.
