Kristin Cavallari Welcomes Baby Boy. The former Laguna Beach star gave birth to her first son with fiance Jay Cutler, quarterback of the Chicago Bears. She tweeted the news on Wednesday, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world. He was born this morning weighing 7lbs 9oz. Everyone is doing great!” Could there be more Cavallari/Cutler spawn on the way? Yes. “We were talking about the possibility of having another kid right away and then getting married so we can have two kids close in age,” Cavallari told Glamoholic in March. “We want four kids, so we’re thinking maybe have one more, then get married, then have two more but we’ll see, it all depends on how the first one goes.” Congrats to the new family! Now, Jay, let’s see if you can score on the football field, too. [Los Angeles Times]
Kelly Ripa Can’t Get Enough Botox. And she’s proud of it! Although Ms. Ripa has passed the four-decade mark, she still looks better than most people half her age. Her secret: a daily workout routine, moderate food intake, and Botox—”as much as possible!” she says. The Live with Kelly hostess uses her kids as a gauge for telling when it’s time for a touch up. She told In Touch magazine, “It’s when my kids start asking me if I’m mad at them, and I say, ‘Why do you think I’m mad at you?’ They say it’s because I’m frowning. I go ‘Oh no! I am? I’ll be right back!'” [New York Daily News]
Do Not Copy Marilyn Monroe’s Diet. Wanting to find out more about Marilyn Monroe’s eating habits, dietitian Cynthia Sass discovered that the icon discussed her diet in the September 1952 issue of the Pageant Magazine. For breakfast, Monroe would have warm milk mixed with two raw eggs; she’d skip lunch; and for dinner, she’d down a broiled steak, lamb or liver with a handful of raw carrots. Dessert meant a hot-fudge sundae. Healthy? Not so much, yet Monroe was never technically overweight. Her fluctuating figure varied between 118 pounds to 140 pounds, which put her in the normal BMI range for her five-foot-five-inch frame. Still, we wouldn’t suggest mimicking her eating habits too closely. A hot-fudge sundae is fine—just not every single night. [Shape]
Gwen Stefani Hearts Her Vegan Diet. The No Doubt front-woman is no joke when it comes to her fitness regime: “There is no secret,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “You just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself!” (Touche.) For Stefani, maintaining an envy-worthy bod has meant sticking to a strict vegan diet. Color us impressed. [Examiner.com]
