Run to raise awareness for a deadly disease
The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition will hold its 13th Annual Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer on September 10th. For the Coalition’s largest awareness event, sponsors and race participants have already raised over $100,000, which will support the Delaware Valley Chapter’s education and awareness programs. If you’re not up for the scenic 5K run through Fairmount Park, you can always participate in a 1.5-mile fun walk. Be sure unwind afterwards with food, drinks, guest speakers and live entertainment.
