Trapeze. Outside. Over Broad Street.

Fly City comes to Philly April 7 to May 1

If you’ve ever thought learning trapeze might be fun, now’s your chance. As part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA), from April 7 to May 1, the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts and Fly School Circus Arts will be hosting “Fly City,” an event that will allow first-timers and pros alike to fly through the air on a full-scale flying rig—25 feet above Broad Street. During each two-hour lesson, students will learn everything from how to take off from the platform and basic swings to transferring to the catcher and dropping into the net. (In a full, totally non-death-defying harness, of course.)

Um, count me in. Sounds fun, and trapeze is a killer workout for your arms.

Tickets cost $55 and can be purchased here.
