NHL Cancels Games Through November 1st

Hope you didn’t have your heart set on seeing professional hockey anytime soon because the NHL has announced the cancellation of all games through November 1st. That means four additional Flyers games just got the ax as NHL Players’ Association and the NHL try to figure out what the hell they’re going to do for a new collective bargaining agreement. Oh, and the Eagles are 3-3 and the Phillies missed the playoffs and Andrew Bynum’s knee is all junked up and it’s Friday and we could all use happy hour sooner than later. Fall sucks. [Flyers]
