Free Egg-Freezing Cocktail Parties Coming Up at Pub & Kitchen

Talk about your eggs and ovaries isn’t typically considered appropriate cocktail conversation, but in this case, go for it: On July 21st and and September 16th, the folks from Society Hill Reproductive Medicine are hosting free “Egg Freezing 101” cocktail parties at Rittenhouse’s Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard Street).

So, what does an egg-freezing cocktail party entail, you ask? Well, the idea is to give women who are interested in learning about the process an opportunity to talk with a doctor — Fertility specialist Dr. Maureen Kelly, who is also the co-founder of The Wellnest — and talk with each other, plus hear from women who’ve gone through it, all in a setting that isn’t a stuffy doctor’s office. And of course, there will be beer and wine on deck to make all the baby talk (and the anxiety that comes along with it) a little easier to bear.

Another thing to note is, everyone who attends will get a $1,000 discount on an egg-freezing cycle. The events are free and will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on July 21st and September 16th — just make sure to RSVP here.
