DeSean, a Roster Move And Playoff Odds

DeSean Jackson met with reporters today and said he’s moving on from Sunday’s incident on the sideline.

“Yeah, it’s over and done with,” he said. “We’re moving forward. It’s a new week, new game, so we already discussed that.”

Asked if he regrets what happened, Jackson said: “Regret? It’s part of the game. I probably could have handled things differently. But I’m not really gonna get into too much of that. Going forward, worry about the Chicago Bears.”

Jackson is playing his first season for new wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell. He was asked how that relationship is developing.

“It’s still an open relationship,” Jackson said. “It’s still getting to know each other, still early on. It’s been a couple months since we’ve been here together. The biggest thing is playing football and doing the things you need to do to win football games.”

Jackson had 10 catches for 195 yards against Minnesota.

EAGLES ADD JOHNSON, RELEASE ACHO

The Eagles have signed safety Keelan Johnson from the practice squad and released linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Johnson (5-11, 212) is an undrafted rookie out of Arizona State. He originally signed with the Dolphins, but was released and caught on to the Eagles’ practice squad before the season.

Safeties Kurt Coleman (hamstring) and Colt Anderson (knee) suffered injuries Sunday and did not participate in today’s practice. Earl Wolff (knee) sounds confident that he’ll be ready to go.

“If we had a game today, I’d probably play,” Wolff said. “I feel better than I did Sunday. Sunday when I went out there, still felt like it was kind of sore. But today I practiced and felt really well, so hopefully it’ll feel the same way Sunday and I’ll be ready to go.”

PLAYOFF ODDS

Despite their loss Sunday, the Eagles’ playoff odds actually went up 3.6 percent, according to Football Outsiders. They now have a 70.7 percent chance of playing in the postseason.

There’s a 49.8 percent chance the Eagles are the No. 3 seed and a 20.8 percent chance they get the No. 4 seed. The most likely first-round opponent would now be the Saints, who have a 36.0 percent chance of getting the No. 6 seed. The Panthers are at 30.4 percent, and the 49ers are at 25.3 percent.

The only other potential first-round opponent is the Cardinals (8.3 percent).
