The XPoNential Music Festival is July 22-24.

One of the main music events of the summer is this weekend. WXPN’s XpoNential Music Festival takes over the Camden waterfront with 35 artists playing a mix of rock, blues, roots and folk over three days, July 22-24, with headliners every night.

The big names include Ryan Adams, Brandi Carlile, Old Crow Medicine Show, Gary Clark Jr., Kurt Vile, Alabama Shakes and case/lang/viers (Neko Case, k.d. lang and Laura Veirs).

The latest addition to the lineup is Mavis Staples, fresh off her performance with Bob Dylan at the Mann.

Philly-based artists performing at the festival are Eliza Hardy Jones, who released her debut album this year, RoseMary Fiki, Queen of Jeans, Ben Arnold, Billy Hector, Low Cut Connie and Kississippi.

During the day the musicians perform on two stages in Wiggins Park; in the evening the festival moves next door to the BB&T Pavilion — previously Susquehanna Bank Center, or the Tweeter Center to some of us. Ticket options are Go Everywhere Passes, good for all three days, or single-day passes for either BB&T Pavilion or Wiggins Park. If you’re getting the three-day pass, you can upgrade to a reserved seat at BB&T, instead of the lawn.
