Rosa Blanca Café is bringing Philly’s ballooning beer-garden experience right to the heart of the city with its revamped garden bar and a host of weekly activities.

The Philly Cuban- and Caribbean-inspired eatery has cut the ribbon on its new and improved PNC Terrace, the garden seating area in Philly’s well-trafficked Dilworth Park. Urban architecture firm Groundswell Design Group thought up the enhancements, adding a garden bar, elevated planters, new furniture, bright flowers, umbrellas and market lights.

Rosa Blanca has upped its activity schedule and menu, too. Wednesday and Thursday nights will feature even more additions to the café, including live musical performances, DJs and happy-hour specials. There will be a special happy hour every Wednesday throughout summer from 5-7 pm, with a DJ playing tropical, Latin, reggae and summer tunes. On Thursday nights, guests can enjoy happy hour specials and a showcase of live music, with local musicians performing a fusion of Brazilian, Caribbean and American jams at Rhythms at Rosa Blanca. Performers will include Trinidelphia, Philadelphia’s premiere Caribbean steel drum combo, and more talented reggae and salsa musicians.

Added to the menu that already includes craft beer, Spanish wines, unique cocktails and traditional Cuban favorites, are the tomate sandwich and guacamole, and a menu of traditional coffees and espresso beverages from Garces Trading Company.
