David’s Bridal is changing the game with its latest campaign: In an effort to make its ads more reflective of the average bride-to-be, the locally-based brand (it’s headquartered in Conshohocken) chose a gorgeous size-14 model, named Mercy Watson, to pose in the new Spring 2016 collection. The new ads will start circulating in print next week.

“We recognize that our customers are all different sizes and silhouettes and felt it was important to reflect this diversity in our ad campaign creative,” says Trevor Lunn, the brand’s senior vice president and chief customer officer. “We are proud that these images further reinforce our commitment to helping every bride-to-be find the gown of her dreams, regardless of her shape, style or budget.”

The collection—which was photographed all over London in celebration of David’s Bridal’s UK expansion (it’s third UK store is opening this week)—will include 52 new gown styles for spring in sizes ranging from 2-26.
