Poll Shows Romney-Christie Ticket Would Lose Jersey

A new poll released by Quinnipiac University shows that Mitt Romney would likely lose New Jersey to Barack Obama in a general election even if he were to add Governor Chris Christie as his running mate. Without a hypothetical vice presidential candidate, the poll had Jersey leaning toward Obama 49-39. With Governor Christie on the ticket, those numbers changed to 50-42. This comes in spite of the fact that Christie’s job approval rating is at 57 percent. Maybe the new Seinfeld-themed video will help him out. [Politico]
