Eagles Sign DE Xavier Brown

In need of a camp body, the Eagles signed defensive end Xavier Brown today.

Brown (6-4, 265) played in the Arena League for the New Orleans Voodoo. He played his college ball at C.W. Post (Long Island).

The Eagles had an open roster spot after trading linebackers Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd to the Colts for cornerback Kevin Thomas earlier this week. They now have a full 90-man roster.

Defensive ends Jason Babin (calf strain) and Trent Cole(A.C. joint – shoulder) have yet to fully return to practice.
