We want to hear about it.

We love hearing from our readers; you guys just inspire us to pieces.

That’s why we relaunched our Inspiration series last month with a slew of new, real-life weight-loss stories aimed at motivating and, well, inspiring other readers to get off the couch and make meaningful changes for their health.

In recent weeks, we heard from Katey Dyck, a 34-year-old Fort Washington resident, who took slow, steady, purposeful steps toward rehabbing her diet and fitness habits, all for the sake of her five-year-old daughter. In a year’s time, she lost a jaw-dropping 102 pounds.

We heard from Susie Rutledge, the 28-year-old from Collingswood who’s put in serious gym time to shed 80 pounds in 11 months. And we heard from Trevan Borum, the dad from Fairmount who started his weight-loss journey with daily walks — it was all he could muster — but soon began working with a personal trainer to get his eating and fitness on track. In all, he lost 85 pounds. His weight-loss motivation? His four-year-old son.

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading these stories as much as we’ve enjoyed telling them. Now we’re opening it up to you, our readers, to contribute even more great stories of incredible weight-loss for our series. Email me at eleaman@phillymag.com with a brief overview of your weight-loss journey — a couple of sentences, max — and feel free to include before and after photos. We’ll publish your stories right here on Be Well Philly. Our only parameter is that you need to currently live in or around the Philadelphia area.

Thanks for inspiring us, readers. We can’t wait to hear from you.
