Previously a singer and guitarist for Brooklyn band The Babies, Kevin Morby has recently released Harlem River, his solo debut. He’ll take the stage at Underground Arts on Tuesday night with New York guitarist Steve Gunn. You’ll be lucky enough to catch the unique musical stylings of harpist Mary Lattimore and local Jeff Zeigler as well. The lineup will not disappoint. Tickets are available here. Allentown Fairgrounds is hosting Motley Crue this Wednesday evening for a stop on their Final Tour, and we assure you, they definitely won’t be back for an encore. The glam metal bad boys signed an agreement vowing to permanently dissolve their group following this tour, so catch one last “Girls, Girls, Girls” performance while you can. Deadheads unite: The Ardmore Music Hall will feature a tribute to the psychedelic rock gods on Thursday evening. The band—who have played with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead—has a solid playlist of over 200 songs, spanning the band’s 30-year career. Tie-dye optional (but you’d be silly not to). If you’re beach bound this holiday weekend, head to Caesar’s Atlantic City to catch five-decade-old Journey belt out their greatest hits. Chances are you’ll be hearing their songs at the bar anyway. With a lineup star-studded enough to span two days of Labor Day Weekend, Budweiser’s Made in America festival returns to the parkway. Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Tiesto, The National, J.Cole, Steve Aoki, City and Colour, Pharrell Williams, and Spoon will take the stage over the course of the two-day blowout, and that’s just naming a few.
