This Is the New Way to Stack Bracelets On Your Arm

A major crystal on an antique watch band.

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of wearing full arms of bracelets. (I even have a huge dish next to my computer at work where I take off my dozens of bracelets, so that I may type without injuring myself.) But then the term ‘arm party’ was coined and everyone started to clang around with their bangles and cuffs up to the elbows. It seemed, suddenly, basic. So I invested in my earring game

Now, though, my wrists feel bare, and also I’ve come across these bracelets by San Diego-based Flight of Fancy. They’re available at Ritual Ritual in NoLibs, a boutique that’s both modern and mystical (think: lots of crystals). That’s chunky phantom quartz, set into recycled brass, and — the coolest part — attached to antique watch bands. This means that no two bracelets are exactly alike, which means that you won’t see your arm stack coming and going. My suggestion: Spring for two or three and wear them together for a major statement.

Oh, and if you’re a believer in the healing properties of different crystals, listen up. According to the product info on the website, this particular quartz wards off negative energy, aids concentration and bolsters the immune system.

The Details: Flight of Fancy ‘Time Keepers’ bracelet, $80 at Ritual Ritual, 819 North 2nd Street, Northern Liberties. Buy it here.
