Guys, We Need to Talk About Anthropologie’s New Home Collection

Let the lusting begin.

I think that most people love Anthropologie so much because shopping there is sort of like being in a dreamy, real-life Instagram pic (filtered in Valencia, natch). Sure, the clothes are nice — if generally not my style — and so are the accessories, but it’s the home selection that makes me ache for an airy cottage somewhere, so that I may fill it with painted ceramics and jewel-tone velvets and various artifacts that look as if they’ve been plucked from some far-flung flea market.

On Monday, we wrote about one of Anthro’s latest offerings — a splashy retro chair that’s part of the company’s largest home rollouts ever. But we barely scratched the surface. The home section, both online and in-store, is incredible. We’ve chosen our top 10 buys here, from the side table I am absolutely going to own even though I have a weird surplus of side tables, to the posh Chesterfield that can elevate even the most dull space.

[1] Pavo Side Table in gold, $398. [2] Copper Top Flatware, $78. [3] Coppice Shell Pendant Lamp, $498-$998. [4] Chain-Stitched Poppies Rug, $248-$1,498. [5] Crowned Quartz Knob, $28. [6] Tangent Notebook, $18 each. [7] Velvet Lyre Chesterfield Sofa, Wilcox in dark turquoise, $2,298. [8] Velvet Tillie Armchair in dark purple, $1,098. [9] Archipelago Fish Pitcher, $78. [10] (not pictured above) Starburst Sconce, $848.
