The Best Pocket Squares in Philly — and the Celebs Who Wear Them

The accessories that make us wish women wore pocket squares.

I’ve been following the (now skyrocketing) career trajectories of Ontario Armstrong and Clifton Wilson for several years now. They own Armstrong & Wilson, a Philly-based company that turns out some of the coolest men’s accessories—ties, pocket squares, bow ties—that I’ve seen. And I’m not the only one singing their praises. Everyone from ESPN NFL analyst Darren Woodson and Chris Bosh to Al Roker and Mos Def are fans of the line.

Now the duo has released their spring collection. It’s rife with bold colors and splashy prints (like this Pink Coral square, $55), but there are also options for the pattern-averse—a delicate blue windowpane pattern, a solid washed heather. The spring squares are all linen, with a tiny button at the corner, sometimes in a small wood flower shape. Invest in one now, and you’ll have it in time for Easter. You can shop the entire new collection here.

Shopping tip: Like their Facebook page, follow them on Twitter or join their mailing list and you’ll get a promo code for 20 percent off your entire next purchase. (And if you want to pad your winter accessory arsenal, now’s the time: Most winter items are up to 40 percent off. Shop them here.)
