I Am Kind of Obsessed With This Badgley Mischka Two-Piece Crop-Top Wedding Dress

I’ve been seeing a lot of Morgan Stewart wedding-related headlines the past several weeks—though I have to say, until I actually clicked a bit today, I didn’t know who she was. (Answer: Reality-show main character, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. It occurs to me now that I’ve poked into it that I did see one episode of this show once, and decided not to add it to my DVR lineup.)

But anyway. She got married over the weekend—so the wedding-related headlines really kicked up the past few days—and I have to say, I keep staring at different pictures of her dress! I love it. Like, love it. Take a look:

The crop-top wedding dress (or, more accurately, crop-top wedding separates) is something that we have certainly been really digging here at PW ever since the look first arrived on the scene—but this just might be one of my most favorite iterations of it yet. The long sleeves and high neckline balance out the sexiness of the crop, and the fit-to-flare skirt silhouette just makes the whole thing so ladylike and chic. It’s a dream.

People informs us that it’s a custom gown by Badgley Mischka, which does not surprise us. US Weekly reports that later in the reception, she ditched the long skirt for a mini, and it’s pretty fun that the top worked with both. A part of me has to wonder if ladies who wear this look for their wedding will one day view it as trendy and wish they had gone with a more timeless look—but for now, it sure is a lot of fun.

How do you feel about the crop-top wedding look?
