When we write the honeymoon features for each of our print issues, we always include a section that details the best time of year to travel to that particular location. Oftentimes we mention the destination’s peak tourist season (these months usually have the nicest weather), that way you’ll know right off the bat if it’s a possibility for your post-nuptial getaway.
But, truth be told, there are plenty of reasons to book your trip during a destination’s off-season as well: Less crowds and lower prices are just a few of the perks (plus, off-peak doesn’t always mean bad weather). It’s just a matter of doing your research, and finding the places that are worthy of an off-season visit.
