Amazon Offering Transparent Free This Saturday

If you’ve been wondering about the buzz surrounding the award-winning Amazon show Transparent, now you’ll have a chance to catch the groundbreaking series about trans lives for free.

This Saturday, January 24th, Amazon is offering the entire 10-show series at no cost via their Amazon Instant app for TV and mobile devices, and online via their website. Of course, the online mega-store is also offering a $72 membership that day for their Prime service, but a purchase is not necessary to view Transparent.

The show recently won a Golden Globe award for “Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy,” and is described by producers as follows: “An LA family with serious boundary issues have their past and future unravel when a dramatic admission causes everyone’s secrets to spill out.” Of course, we’re excited about the series because it is one of the first times that a show takes a serious look at trans health and lives.
