12-Year-Old Girl Assaulted While Walking to School in Philadelphia
It happened in Overbrook.
On Monday morning, the Philadelphia Police Department said that a 12-year-old girl reported being indecently assaulted while she was walking to school on Friday. According to the notice from police, the girl was walking in the 5800 block of Malvern Avenue in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia when one man touched her chest as a second man tried to lift up her skirt.
Police describe the first man as a black male in his early 20s with a “twisty hair style,” Converse sneakers, faded jeans and a black shirt. The second man is described as a black male in his late 20s wearing Capri pants, a red shirt and sneakers.
