Cops: Two Ran Meth Lab in Rehoboth Beach

Police found the pair arguing outside an apartment complex after a fire. One of the suspects was arrested near an Applebee's.

Delaware state police have charged two with methamphetamine production at an apartment complex near Rehoboth Beach. The News Journal’s Jon P. Zaimes reports the duo were arrested after a fire broke out at the Beach Haven Apartments.

Both had minor injuries. Police found Susan Trudeau and Eric Marine arguing in the parking lot when they arrived at the scene of the fire. Both were arrested, though Marine tried to flee and was caught “around the Applebee’s restaurant nearby.” Police say the fire was sparked by chemicals used to make methamphetamine.

Neither suspect was able to post bond, NBC 10 reports.
