Tech Funding Up in Philly For First Time Since 2008

Just in time for a certain issue of Philly Mag...

Biz Journal reports: “Even as technology funding declined nationwide last year, investment in Greater Philadelphia technology companies rose for the first time since 2008. About $698 million was invested in 191 deals in 2012, compared with $612 million in 158 deals in 2011, according to a new report on the state of technology investment in the region over the last five years.”
