How do you meet people?
Usually through friends, which I know is kind of like, waah waah. Or sometimes through the occasional social application.

In other words, “Grindr.”
I know nothing of the sort. [laughs]

What’s your type?
I don’t like guys that are overly muscled, who look like they’ve been at the gym for two weeks straight. I like fit, but not a ripped model from the cover of Men’s Health.

That puts you in the minority of gay men.
[laughs] Most of the guys I’ve met who are in that kind of shape are too obsessed with their bodies. I am not ridiculously ripped, and I like to be physically matched with someone.

Biggest turn-on?
A sarcastic, witty sense of humor—someone who’s clever. If you make me laugh, it’s a turn-on for me.

Which is most important: good listener, great kisser or big romantic?
Honestly? Great kisser. At the end of the day, I don’t have time for someone who doesn’t know how to kiss.

You could teach them.
I teach enough!

Sex on the first date: yes or no?
Define “date” and define “sex.” [laughs] My general policy is no, especially if it’s a proper first date. But … stuff happens.
