Philly Lawyer Handing George Zimmerman’s *Other* Case

Today we learned that Zimmerman defense attorney Don West used to be a DJ in Philly. Here’s another–likely unwanted–Philly/Zimmerman connection. The defendant in the Trayvon Martin case, found not guilty over the weekend, is suing NBC for allegedly slicing up his 911 call to suggest he was racially profiling Martin. His new lawyer? Philly-based Jim E. Beasley, whose own father James Beasley won a massive $104 million suit for 9/11 victims and was a major Temple benefactor. [CBS 3]
