Reports: Explosions at Boston Marathon [Updated]
According to reports, two exposions occurred around 2:50 p.m. today at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The explosions, according to NBC Sports, happened within seconds of one another. Below are photos from the scene and screenshots of television footage. The race has been halted, with runners being stopped before beginning the 26th mile of the race.

Update [3:46 p.m.]: The New York Post reports 12 are dead, and many more seriously injured. One reporter on the scene says a police officer said several undetonated explosives were also found.
Update [4:08 p.m.]: The Boston Globe reports that 2 are dead and 22 injured.
Update [11:01 p.m.]: The Boston Globe reports that 140 are injured, and 3 are dead, including an eight-year-old boy. The Post‘s report appears to be erroneous.
