Chris Christie’s Whopping Approval Rating Highest Of Any NJ Guv in 17 Years

Not since Christine Todd Whitman has New Jersey so swooned for Trenton. Today, a poll by Quinnipiac finds the Governor’s approval rating at a stunning 74%, a figure that hasn’t been so high since the mid-90s. By contrast, Christie’s likely opponent Barbara Buono (don’t bet on too many other Dems jumping into the fray, especially after this poll) trails Christie head-to-head 62%-25%.
