Michael Musto Disses Clive Davis After He Comes Out as Bisexual

The snark-tastic Village Voice scribe says it was all done to sell a few books.

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard that music mogul Clive Davis (aka Whitney Houston’s “industry father”) has come out of the closet as bisexual — a revelation he makes in his new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, and on today’s episode of Katie. To be honest, I was pretty quick to file this under “Things I Didn’t Need to Know,” but many are praising the legendary star-maker for his bravery. Not Michael Musto. On his blog, La Daily Musto, the Village Voice scribe posts “A Message for Clive Davis,” saying:

Congrats for coming out as bisexual in your new memoir.

After a lifetime in the closet, you’ve finally come out to sell a book, and whatever–better late than never, blah blah.

But when are you finally going to stop closeting Whitney?

Your next book?

What do you think? Is Musto pulling total shade or do appreciate his honesty? Weigh in!
