10 Pro-Paterno Billboards Planned for State College?

On Thursday, a blue billboard that reads, “You can’t cover up 61 years of success with honor.” was erected in downtown State College. The effort was organized by alumni interest group Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship and an anonymous alumnus. More than that, though, there are apparently rumors that, eventually, nearly a dozen similar billboards will be littered along Route 322 and Route 26.

Besides the original advertisement that is located in the parking lot by the CVS on Beaver Ave. and Pugh St. (map), there is unconfirmed reports that up to 10 more billboards will appear on routes 322 and 26 to catch the eye of those traveling into State College. [Onward State]
