Jimmy Rollins Benched for Not Hustling

Pat yourself on the back if you’ didn’t watch the Phillies game today. The Phils won 3-2, but, at this point, that hardly helps matters. Thursday’s matinee against the Mets was a microcosm for the Phils 2012 campaign as Mike Baxter hit a lead-off home run off of Kyle Kendrick, Scott Hairston continued his bludgeoning of the Phils with a dinger in the second, and then Charlie Manuel yanked Jimmy Rollins from the lineup after the shortstop didn’t hustle on a pop up that was dropped. Also, Ben Stiller wants Jimmy to know that lunch has been canceled this afternoon. [Phillies]
