Philly Loves to Tweet “Good Morning” and “F#$% You”

Apparently a “Twitter Heatmap” is a thing. Basically, it displays the areas of the country where people tweet certain phrases most frequently at any given time. A recent “Twitter Heatmap” focused on the terms “Good morning” and “Fuck you” in an attempt to show who’s polite and who’s rude. But, their plan was foiled when Philadelphia (and Los Angeles) turned out to be hotbeds for both terms because we hope you have a wonderful day, but reserve the right to point out when you’re being a jackass. The study isn’t very specific, though, and Philly only showed up as a hotbed for each term a few times during the July study. [Fox 29]
