Mike Emrick Says Australian Women Are the Philadelphia Flyers of Water Polo

On Monday morning, Olympics broadcaster Mike Emrick compared the women’s water polo team of Australia to the Philadelphia Flyers because of their dirty and controversial play. The Australian team was playing the United States for the right to compete for the gold medal in the Olympic finals. The game was a rematch of the semifinal at the Beijing Games four years ago that the United States won 9-8.
