Congressman From Philly Burbs Considered Vulnerable in Upcoming Election

The folks at PoliticsPA.com have released their August edition of Congressional Vulnerability ratings and three Philly-area pols are considered vulnerable. Republican Mike Fitzpatrick is said to be on shaky ground because he’ll likely need to secure split-ticket votes as the 8th District goes blue for President Obama. Republican Jim Gerlach’s challenger—Democratic physician Manan Trivedi—has more cash on hand than any other Democratic challenger in the state. The 7th District’s Republican Pat Meehan is also worried about a Democratic challenger, but George Badey hasn’t exactly been threatening on the fundraising front. [Politics PA]
