Funeral Services Set for “Butterball” Tamburro

A funeral mass for iconic Philadelphia DJ Joseph “Butterball” Tamburro has been scheduled for Thursday morning at Ss. Peter and Paul at 18th and the Parkway. The 10 a.m. mass will honor Tamburro, who spent 50 years working at WDAS before he died on Friday. He was 70-years old and had been suffering from heart disease and diabetes. [Daily News]
